Laser peels are an outstanding way to remove a thin layer of damaged skin to promote the growth of beautiful, new skin on the face, neck, chest, back, and hands.

THE MICROLASERPEEL CAN BE USED TO HELP MINIMIZE AND ELIMINATE:

Microlaserpeels are an excellent choice to treat shallow wrinkles and scars, rough raised areas of the skin (keratosis), sun spots, age spots and uneven skin tone/texture.

HOW DOES THE MICROLASERPEEL WORK?

The MicroLaserPeel works by precisely directing a computer-guided light (or laser) beam over an area of skin to remove the thin, top, and often damaged layer. The treated top layer of skin then sloughs off to reveal a vibrant, new, fresh layer of skin. The MicroLaserPeel is a shallower peel than some others, but it can be administered at different (slightly deeper) settings to address your desires and the unique needs of your skin.

The MicroLaserPeel yields outstanding results with little discomfort. Shallow treatments require no anesthetic, whereas the deeper settings are sometimes accompanied with a topical numbing cream to ensure comfort.

RECOVERING FROM A MICROLASERPEEL

After your laser peel, you will likely notice that your skin has a white, dry appearance. You also might experience redness, tenderness, and minor swelling similar to mild sunburn. Your skin will begin peeling lightly within a day or 2 as fresh new skin cells begin replacing the older, damaged skin in the treated area. Any peeling and flaking in the days after your MicroLaserPeel can be managed with a soothing, gentle, nonalcohol-based ointment or cream.

Immediately after treatment, you should apply a cold compress to help reduce redness and inflammation. You also should avoid makeup, moisturizers, creams, and perfumes for several days or more until your skin has healed.

You should avoid direct sunlight for several days after your peel. Once your skin has healed, you should use a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more whenever you are outside to help protect the outstanding effects of your MicroLaserPeel treatment.

    Microlaserpeel FAQs
Will I have downtime with this procedure?

Because most clients return to normal activities 1 to 3 days after the peel, it is often referred to as the weekend peel. The amount of downtime will depend on the depth of the peel. Your laser technician will discuss the amount of time needed during your consultation.

    When will I see results?

You will see results within 3 to 4 days after your laser procedure, including improvements in skin color, tone, and texture. But, your optimal result will be a week or two out when you are fully healed.

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients achieve outstanding results with only 1 MicroLaserPeel, but some clients have 2 or more laser treatments to achieve their goals.
